The pioneering developer of the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn owned the three story clock tower in the loft building at One Main Street, the first residential conversion in this former industrial neighborhood. His goal was to create a unique triplex apartment with 360 degree views of the Brooklyn Bridge to the south, the Manhattan Bridge to the north, lower Manhattan to the west and the expanse of Brooklyn to the east.
Organized around a soaring three story atrium with a glass enclosed elevator and stairs, the apartment was designed for entertaining, the display of art and modern living. The four 12 foot diameter clock faces were restored, becoming windows to the views beyond.
