AIA NYS Excelsior Award for Bridge Rockaway

The accolades for Bridge Rockaway keep coming. Last week Jack Esterson travelled to Albany to receive an AIA New York State Excelsior Award. The program highlights the best in publicly funded buildings, outdoor areas, and public art across New York State, and the architects and design professionals who support and advocate for them.

Bridge Rockaway, an innovative development, which uniquely co-locates affordable housing with light manufacturing workshops, creating a new model for urban mixed-use projects, was recognized in the New Construction category.

Bridge Rockaway recognized at CHPC Lunch

Bridge Rockaway, the Brownsville, Brooklyn development designed by Think! that co-locates affordable and supportive housing with light industrial manufacturing, has been receiving numerous accolades. Recently this first of its kind development was recognized at the Citizens Housing & Planning Council Annual Luncheon, receiving the Impact for Community Investment Award.
