Alexandra Swietlik
Architectural Designer

Alexandra is an architectural designer with a strong focus on historic preservation and adaptive reuse. Her experience spans residential, educational, cultural, and mixed-use projects in the United States and Germany, ranging from complex renovations and adaptive reuse to ground-up construction. She combines design and project management experience with an approach that balances respect for existing buildings and thoughtful, forward-looking design. Her work considers preservation alongside performance, accessibility, and long-term sustainability. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from HTWK Leipzig and a Master of Arts in Architecture from the Munich University of Applied Sciences, both in Germany.

Andrew Brookes
Architect/ Project Manager

Andrew combines design expertise, project management, and multidisciplinary coordination across a range of architectural projects. He has experience leading consultant teams and guiding projects from design through construction, with a particular strength in navigating the complexities of project delivery. Before joining Think!, Andrew served as a Director at a nationally recognized architecture firm in Boston, where he led projects for cities, towns, and universities. His careful attention to detail and collaborative approach support effective communication between clients, consultants, and project teams. His work has received recognition from the American Architecture Awards and the Boston Society of Architects.

Charlotte Wensley
Marketing

Charlotte is the Marketing Lead at Think!, where she supports the firm's business development, communications, and marketing initiatives. She works closely with colleagues across the practice to develop proposals, marketing materials, and digital content that communicate the firm's work and collaborative approach. Charlotte is particularly interested in finding clear and engaging ways to communicate the value of architecture and the people behind it. She also focuses on building lasting relationships with clients and partners and developing stories around projects that create positive, lasting impacts for communities throughout New York City.

Creola Petrescu
Associate

Creola is an architect with experience across a range of building types, including cultural, hospitality, residential, educational, and health and wellness projects. Her work spans projects of varying scales and complexity, with a particular interest in how the built environment can support occupant comfort and well-being. Given the significant impact of sound on the experience of buildings, Creola has developed expertise in sound management strategies and acoustic performance, collaborating with acoustic consultants to address airborne and impact sound in athletic facilities and improve sound quality and speech intelligibility in performance and educational spaces.

Through her work on Passive House projects, Creola has also developed experience in highly insulated and airtight building envelopes, contributing to improved energy efficiency and occupant comfort across a range of climatic conditions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from MIT and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed architect in New York State.

Eliana Drier
Architect

Eliana is an architect with experience in single-family and multifamily housing, as well as landscape installation and fabrication. Her work reflects a strong interest in the relationship between the built and natural environments and in creating living spaces that benefit both people and local ecologies. She approaches design as a tool for bringing empathy and imagination to the creation of beautiful, functional spaces that respond to the needs of their users. At Think!, Eliana contributes to the design and development of affordable housing in Brooklyn. She holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University at Buffalo.

Elizabeth Bobyr
Architectural Designer

Liz is an architectural designer at Think! and a native New Yorker. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in 2023 and is interested in creating thoughtful, enduring architecture that supports and strengthens the communities within the city she calls home. Her approach is rooted in contextual design and an understanding of the relationship between buildings and their surrounding environments.

An avid traveler, Liz is interested in how each city develops its own architectural language through its history, culture, and urban fabric. This perspective informs her belief that thoughtful architecture should respond to both the larger context and the individual experience, creating spaces that are functional, welcoming, and meaningful.

Ethan Peng
Architectural Designer

Ethan is an architectural designer who sees architecture as a reflection of people and culture and as a means of shaping environments that enhance quality of life. His approach begins with an interest in the activities, relationships, and cultural contexts that surround a building. He draws inspiration from traditional Asian building techniques, European postmodern structural expressionism, and the evolving architectural fabric of New York City.

Ethan earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and has contributed to projects across a range of typologies and geographic contexts, including an educational institution in Vancouver, a research campus in Saudi Arabia, and affordable housing in New York. He views each project as an opportunity to explore new ideas and perspectives and continues to be interested in the relationship between digital tools, craft, and the physical experience of architecture.

Fatemeh Yousefi
Architectural Designer

Fatemeh is an architectural designer with more than 10 years of experience in mixed-use developments, retail environments, and interior architecture. She is interested in how architecture shapes the way people experience and interact with their surroundings and believes thoughtful design can improve both functionality and quality of life.

Throughout her career, Fatemeh has focused on the production and technical development of projects, translating design concepts into detailed documentation and coordinating the many elements required to bring them to completion. She has a strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving, with a consistent focus on quality throughout the design and documentation process.

Ghislaine Trombert
Managing Principal

As Managing Principal, Ghislaine provides strategic leadership for Think! while overseeing the firm's day-to-day operations, financial management, and human resources. With more than 25 years of experience in architecture, she guides project teams from concept through completion, balancing design excellence, technical rigor, and client needs.

In addition to her architectural practice, Ghislaine is responsible for the firm's operational performance and financial planning and works to foster a collaborative studio environment and support the professional growth of staff. Her combination of design experience and business leadership helps Think! maintain a thoughtful, sustainable approach to both its work and its practice.

Han Kuo
Architectural Designer

Han is an architectural designer based in New York and Taiwan whose experience spans a range of international practices and project types. Before joining Think!, he collaborated with OMA, 3XN/GXN, and Kengo Kuma & Associates, working across major design centers including New York, Taipei, Rotterdam, and Tokyo.

During his time at OMA, Han was a key team member involved in supervising construction of the Taipei Performing Arts Center. His international experience and rigorous design training have shaped a versatile approach to architectural design and project delivery across a range of scales and typologies.

Henri Villanueva
Associate

Henri is an Associate and Chartered Architect (RIBA) with more than a decade of experience leading, managing, and delivering complex multidisciplinary projects through all phases of design and construction. Since relocating from London to New York, he has developed a portfolio centered on affordable housing, building on earlier experience across residential, education, leisure, commercial, mixed-use, retrofit, and heritage and landmark projects.

Henri has strong technical knowledge and a collaborative approach to complex project delivery, working closely with developers, consultants, and public agencies to navigate challenging briefs and bring projects to completion. He is particularly interested in expanding Think!'s affordable housing practice and developing strong relationships across New York's real estate and development communities.

Jack Esterson
Principal

With 50 years of experience practicing architecture in New York State, Jack has worked across residential, academic, healthcare, nonprofit, arts, and adaptive reuse projects. His experience spans a wide range of project types, budgets, and scales, informing a practical and adaptable approach to design and problem-solving.

Jack is particularly attuned to the challenges of working within tight budgets and complex constraints. He works closely with clients to explore design solutions that respond to program needs, users, and the broader mission of each project, with an emphasis on thoughtful, human-centered architecture.

Jeremiah Reilly
Project Manager

Jeremiah is a designer and project leader with extensive experience across transportation, healthcare, research, residential, and affordable housing. His expertise includes project leadership, technical coordination, and construction administration, with experience guiding complex projects through multiple stages of design and delivery.

Jeremiah is particularly interested in creating environments that support health, sustainability, and resilience through thoughtful, people-centered design. His current work includes leading affordable and senior housing developments that respond to climate resilience, accessibility, and evolving code requirements. He combines technical rigor with collaborative leadership to develop projects that strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

Karyna Yanovska
Architectural Designer

Karyna joined Think! in 2021 after graduating from the City College of New York. A New York native, she is interested in creating thoughtful, enduring architecture that contributes meaningfully to the city and the communities it serves. Her work is guided by a belief that buildings should respond to both the evolving needs of their users and the larger urban environment.

Karyna is particularly interested in the principles and practices that shape the built environment and in questioning conventional approaches to design. She advocates for architecture that prioritizes quality, longevity, and functionality, with an emphasis on creating buildings that are resilient, purposeful, and designed to endure.

Lisette Wong
Associate Principal

Lisette focuses on climate action, energy-efficient building technologies, and the design of affordable and supportive housing. She is a Phius Certified Passive House Consultant and LEED AP BD+C, with a particular interest in integrating environmental performance with social equity and community well-being.

Lisette holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and is a licensed architect in the United Kingdom. Her work explores the connections between architecture, landscape, and community, with an emphasis on creating environments that support social connection and cultural engagement. She was recently recognized as a Notable Leader in Sustainability by Crain's New York Business.

Martin Zanolli
Architectural Designer

Martin is an architectural designer whose experience spans ground-up multistory developments, high-end commercial interiors, and bespoke rural homes. He is interested in creating architecture that responds to both its environment and the people who use it, with an emphasis on the relationship between digital tools and the physical experience of making architecture.

Martin believes that architecture, particularly in an age of algorithmic and generative design, retains its value through human intention and gesture. At Think!, he applies this perspective to the firm's commitment to creating meaningful architecture for the communities it serves, using digital tools to support precision and flexibility while maintaining a connection to the material and physical qualities of the profession.

Marty Kapell
Principal

Marty believes that successful projects begin with listening—to clients, stakeholders, and communities—and understanding the needs and aspirations that shape each project. He approaches design as a collaborative process, working with project teams and clients to develop solutions that are just right for the people and places they serve.

Guided by the conviction that design can be a tool for equality, Marty approaches every project with the same level of intention, rigor, and care, regardless of budget, scale, or end user. As Principal, he provides overarching design guidance throughout the life of a project, helping teams navigate complex decisions while maintaining a clear and purposeful design vision.

Paúl Duston-Muñoz
Associate Principal

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Paúl has worked on a wide range of project types in the United States and abroad. His clients have included academic institutions such as City College of New York, the University of Toronto, and Greenhill School; cultural institutions including Brooklyn Botanic Garden and MoMA; private developers including Brookfield, Related Companies, the Albanese Organization, and The Sorgente Group; and the U.S. Department of State.

Paúl has a particular interest in the design of performing arts centers, informed in part by his lifelong involvement in music. Outside the studio and project site, he plays bass with rock bands in and around New York City.

Sherilyn Pon
Associate

Sheri is a Senior Project Architect with more than 25 years of experience delivering complex healthcare, educational, residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial projects throughout New York. She has extensive expertise in technical leadership, construction documentation, consultant coordination, building envelopes, and project execution from design development through construction administration.

Sheri is particularly skilled at developing practical, code-compliant, and constructible solutions for technically demanding projects. Her experience ranges from healthcare facilities to high-rise residential towers, with a focus on coordinating the many technical and design considerations required to bring complex projects successfully to completion.

Su-Jung Lee
Office Administrator

Su-Jung believes that architecture has the power to shape not only physical space but also human experience. She is interested in the ways that light, energy, and material can influence how people move through and respond to their surroundings, and brings this perspective to the organization and life of the Think! studio.

As Office Administrator, Su-Jung serves as a connection between principals, project managers, and studio architects, helping create a well-organized and supportive environment in which design can flourish. She brings adaptability, an instinct for flow and well-being, and a strong belief in the ability of architecture to enhance everyday experience. She holds master's degrees in Fine Arts and Oriental Medicine and, outside the studio, teaches Vedic Meditation and curates travel experiences.

Tasnia Chowdhury
Architectural Designer

Tasnia is an architectural designer with more than eight years of experience in architectural design, historic preservation, and urban redevelopment. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Leading University in Bangladesh and her Master of Architecture from Miami University in the United States.

Her work spans projects in Bangladesh and the United States, with a particular interest in the relationship between heritage conservation and contemporary design. Tasnia was a contributing author to the Old Dhaka Central Jail Conservation Project, which received the Grand Prize for Asia Pacific at the Holcim Foundation Awards 2025. She takes a thoughtful, research-driven approach to design, drawing on diverse cultural and urban contexts to create meaningful and enduring spaces.

Tejashri Kumaresan
Architectural Designer

Teju is an architectural designer at Think! Originally from India, she trained as an architect before moving to New York to earn her Master of Architecture from Parsons School of Design. She has more than two years experience across residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional projects. Her experience also includes hands-on workshops in earthen and lime construction at Auroville, which have informed her interest in materials and sustainable building practices. Before pursuing architecture, she worked as a magazine writer and was recognized for her writing on architectural education and historic preservation.

At Think!, Teju works across all phases of a project, from zoning analysis and schematic design through construction documentation. She has a particular interest in materials, finishes, passive design, and sustainable approaches to architecture. She also enjoys developing clear and engaging client presentations that communicate the ideas and intent behind a design.

Zoe Paris
Architectural Designer

Zoe is an architectural designer at Think! focused on sustainable, community-centered design. She contributes to the firm's affordable housing projects through all phases of design and is interested in architecture's ability to shape human experience while responding responsibly to the environment.

Zoe earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Sustainability from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Her academic experience included leadership and mentorship through NOMAS, the creation and cultivation of a multiracial student club, and study abroad in Rome and Seoul. These experiences have shaped her interest in approaching architecture with respect, compassion, and environmental responsibility. Outside the studio, Zoe enjoys tennis, travel, bullet journaling, and exploring new restaurants.
